Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) Dr Graham Owen Jones MBE rose from enlisted musician to Senior Director of Music for the Household Division—responsible for the six Household Division bands and the music of Britain’s greatest ceremonial occasions.

From bandsman to Lieutenant Colonel

From band boy to Senior Director of Music for the Household Division, Graham spent four decades helping musicians and ceremonial teams perform at their best. Today he brings that experience to audiences as a speaker, conductor, educator and community leader.

Heroes and Pride of the Nation
both reached No. 1.

Heroes became Graham’s first number-one recording, followed by Pride of the Nation as his second. The Coldstream Guards also signed a major Decca recording agreement and their 2009 album reached No. 13 in the main UK Albums Chart.

    Graham serves as an Armed Forces Councillor Champion, supporting veterans, cadets, remembrance and the Armed Forces Covenant. He also created Channel KT4 to bring local charities and community organisations to a wider audience.
